checked this movie out yesterday, I really liked it. I'd heard mixed things, but I thought it was awesome. It wasn't at all what I was expecting. Here's the basic plot line from IMDB:
The plot focuses on a man (Gerard Butler) who, ten years after his wife and daughter are brutally murdered, returns to extract justice from the assistant district attorney who prosecuted the case(Jaime Fox) against their killers. His vengeance threatens not only the man who allowed mercy to supersede justice, but also the system and the city that made it so.
This movie is great, right up until the very end, the viewer is kept in the dark as to how Gerard Butler is managing to kill off all of the people. By the end of the movie, I didn't know who to root for. On one hand, you feel like Butler is in the right because of the injustice he suffered, but then after a while you almost feel like he's gone too far.
This movie was much better than I was expecting, and I'm gonna give it a 4/5 uber points.
