I thought that I had posted this before, but apparently not.
ninite.com is a web site that you should all know about. Here's the deal. You just reinstalled Windows and now you have to go about installing AAALLLL of your applications again.
Instead, you go to
ninite.com, and it shows you a list of applications. You check the box next to the ones you want, hit go, and you download a single EXE file. You double-click that file, and it goes out, downloads the current versions of whatever you chose, and installs them all for you.
I just used this to download and install 7zip, foxit reader, CCleaner, Java, Yahoo messenger, VLC, RealVNC, FileZilla, and Notepad++. This is the second time I've used it and it's worked like a champ both times. There's tons of applications to choose from, and it's all free. Check it out.
